This bulb is made by the makers of Buggy Whip and is designed to fit the 5' and 8' Buggy Whip whips. The end of the bulb is the same as you'll find on an 1156 bulb. These have been tested by Buggy Whip to withstand the vibrations and environment common to sand duning. That is not to say they can't be broken, but they are designed to last 100,000 hours.
